

Dr. Francis Kofi Arko is a distinguished professional with over 24 years of cumulative experience in the financial, academic, and development sectors. He has held high-level leadership positions, including CEO of Nsutaman Rural Bank and Managing Director of Delta Microfinance Limited, where he led major transformations in financial performance, customer service, and innovation. He was also the Head of Partnerships and Sustainability at Lancaster University Ghana, where he spearheaded strategic partnerships, sustainability programs, continuing professional development (CPD) initiatives, and institutional development.
Currently, Dr. Arko is serving as Head of Marketing and Business Development at the Rosebank International University College, Ghana, responsible for developing and executing a results-driven marketing and business growth strategy for Rosebank International University College, Ghana. This role ensures corporate objectives align to drive student enrollment, enhance brand positioning, and maximise revenue growth
He is also the Chief Research Officer for the National African Peer Review Mechanism Governing Council (NAPRM-GC), the local chapter of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM). His academic credentials include a PhD, MPhil and MA in Development Studies with a focus on Development Finance, a Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship, a Higher National Diploma in Marketing, an Intermediate Certificate in Banking, and international training in business, marketing and finance.
He is also an experienced trainer and speaker in areas such as strategic sales, professionalism, credit risk management, financial management, leadership and presentation skills, delivering sessions for leading organisations across Ghana. Dr Arko is a consultant with MGA and Premium Consultancies.
He has taught at the PhD level for over 8 years and is an Adjunct and full-time Lecturer with the Institute of Development and Technology Management (IDTM) in Cape Coast and Marshall’s University College in Accra, where he lectures on Research Methods, Entrepreneurship and Development Finance at the Postgraduate level.
Dr. Arko is a dynamic and visionary leader committed to youth empowerment, sustainable development, and educational innovation. He is a member of the Institute of Directors Ghana and has served as a church leader and educator, combining professional excellence with personal integrity and community service. He is married with three kids.
